Location:
Travel north of 100 Mile House on Highway 97 to the Forest Grove/Canim Lake Road. Travelling east, you continue on this road to Canim Lake. Greenlee Lake is located on the north west side of Canim Lake.

Mean Depth 9.0 m. (29.52 ft.) Max. Depth 24.99 m. (82 ft.)
Game Fish Rainbow Trout, Char Fish Stocked Rainbow Trout
Angler Usage Low Elevation 937 m. (3000-3500 ft.)
Ice Over November to May T.D.S. 265 mg/L

Resorts & Campsites: A small heavily treed Forest Service campsite provides a cartop boat launch and picnic area. As the steep access road can cause problems in wet weather, check locally for road conditions. Nearby Canim Lake has a full range of facilities and services.

Fishing Report: Exceptional rainbow trout are found at this popular get-away spot. Flies and spinning lures can attract the rainbows that often reach over five pounds.

Viewscape: The hilly countryside is primarily composed of conifers, mainly spruce, with a small percentage of deciduous trees - notably poplar.

Shoreline: The clay/humus soil supports are variety of willow, rushes, spruce and poplar.

Nearby Lakes

Ruth Lake: Go northeast off the Canim Lake Road at Forest Grove. This moderate size lake supports rainbow up to a couple of pounds with fly fishing, spinning and trolling all effective. May to June are the best times for fishing. There is a day use park with a cartop launching area but no other facilities.
