Fishing Report: Pillar provides a good Rainbow fishery for trout up to 2+ lbs. Fly fishermen concentrate their efforts at the north end of the lake in the large shoal areas. During spring through early summer there is a good emergence of Chironomids, Caddisfly, Damsels and Dragons. Trolling small lures, flatfish and spinning gear also meets with good sucess.
Be sure to visit Fishbc.com for angling information!

Nearby Lakes

Joyce Lake - Joyce Lake, 8 ha. (19.8 ac.) in size, is located just minutes to the south of Pillar on the same road. Joyce supports a Rainbow fishery for trout up to 2 lbs. Like Pillar, your best fishing time is spring and early summer. An 8 vehicle BCFS campsite with a good cartop boat launch is available at the lake.

Note: Always check your current BC Fishing regulations before you start fishing a new lake.
