Location: From the city of Kelowna travel southeast on Hwy. #33 to the community of Westbridge. From Westbridge travel north on the Christian Valley road which follows the Kettle River. Copperkettle is found approximately 64 km. (40 mi.) from Westbridge. A final hike of 3 km. (1.9 mi.) is required to reach the lake.

Mean Depth 4.2 m. (13.8 ft.) Max. Depth 9 m. (29.5 ft.)
Game Fish Rainbow Trout Fish Stocked Last stocked with Rainbows in 1986
Angler Usage Low to Moderate Elevation 1143 m. (3749 ft.)
Ice Over November to May T.D.S. 40 mg./L

Resorts & Campsites: A small, shady BCFS campsite is located at the lake itself while 2 other BCFS campsites, which are suitable for large R.V.'s, can be found at nearby Damfino Creek.

Fishing Report: Copperkettle is a quality fly fishing only lake that provides fishermen with Rainbows up to 2+ lbs. The best times to fish this lake are during the spring and fall months.
